Tenemos el orgullo de anunciarles que Fomento Social Banamex se suma a The Hunger Project como socio inversionista y aliado. A partir de este año recibiremos un financiamiento por parte de esta fundación, que tendrá como objetivo consolidar nuestro modelo de desarrollo en la región de la Sierra Mazateca en Oaxaca. Desde 2010, hemos trabajado en esta región sentando las bases para crear un ambiente favorable para que favorezca el desarrollo comunitario profundo y a largo plazo.
El nivel de confianza y empoderamiento que han alcanzado nuestros socios, a partir del trabajo con The Hunger Project, se ve reflejado en su capacidad de organización e implementación colectiva de proyectos en los últimos dos años (conoce más sobre estos proyectos aquí). Este financiamiento será un importante detonador para que florezca el desarrollo de las comunidades con las que trabajamos. Además, a partir de este año, los líderes comunitarios se harán cargo de implementar nuestra metodología en una nueva comunidad, empezando así a expandir las posibilidades de desarrollo en el municipio.

Allies to End Hunger
We are proud to announce that Fomento Social Banamex joins The Hunger Project as an investor and ally. Starting this year, we will receive funding from this organization to consolidate our development model in Sierra Mazateca, located in the state of Oaxaca. Discover all the project and financing details here. Since 2010, we have worked in this region to establish a work basis that creates a favorable environment for the community development.
The levels of confidence and empowerment that have reached our partners due to this work, has been reflected in their ability to organize collective implementations in the past two years (learn more about these projects here). This funding will be an important catalyst to flourish development in the communities we work with. Henceforth, the community leaders will be responsible for implementing our methodology in a new community. This way, the possibilities of development in the municipality will expand.
